Madras Curry Powder
Madras Curry is named for the city it originated in Southern India, which is now named Chennai. It's a sweet and flavourful curry powder. There is an Indian saying that “there are as many curry powders as cooks.” This hand blended mix has a rich, balanced flavor that's perfect in any recipe calling for curry powder.
In addition to Indian cooking, add this curry to rice, vegetables, chicken salad, dips, and baked fish or chicken. It's warm, powerful flavour also makes a great addition to lamb, sauces, gravy and chutney.
This curry is a hand blended mixture of ethically sourced fenugreek, brown mustard seed, cumin, coriander, cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, red chili flake, turmeric and black pepper.
